Back Alley Doctor’s Request

What is Back Alley Doctor?

It is an event where you need to summon 40 mobs (Mutant Prowler) and alongside your members, to kill the boss for various rewards.

When is Back Alley Doctor?

Back Alley Doctor usually happens after Genesis War, and on the same time as Alliance League Registration.

Note that this event will also coincides with Glorious Revival (where you need to rally 20 Hiveminds).

Back Alley Doctor Gameplay

First you need to select the difficulty level (D, C, B, A, S).

The game will tell you the recommended power level for each difficulty.

To unlock a higher difficulty, you need to clear the previous one first. Failure to do so will cause you to redo the same difficulty the next time this event appears.

Upon successful selection, you can summon the mob (called Mutant Prowler).

Starting from level 1, all the way to level 40. With each level will increase the difficulty, with hard spike every 5 levels.

Say in one level, you are unable to kill the mob.

You have 3 options.

  • Option A: Bring multiple troops and swarm it
  • Option B: Rally it yourself
  • Option C: Request help from ally, where they can start rally against it (this will consume 1 vial).
    • Vial is required to seek help from ally.
    • Vial can be obtained (not 100% chance) by joining another’s rally to the mob (not your own).

Calculation on Stamina Consumption

When summoning the mob, it will cost you 100 stamina.

Since. you need to do 40 times, means 100 x 40 zombie = 4000 stamina.

Say you want to attack with a single army.

Note: the above does not take into account the stamina reduction from back-to-back zombie killing,

You will need about 5400 – 6000 stamina (more if you use multiple heroes).

If instead of attacking solo, you decide to rally it.

You will need 9400 – 10000 stamina.

You may wonder, why I need to rally if I can kill it outright? It is to get the purple resource item (more on this below).

Back Alley Doctor Bosses

After your alliance members successfully made sufficient progress, boss battle will be unlocked (called Alliance Pursuit). Killing boss will yield you (and your participating members) various rewards.

Here are the bosses

1st boss – Traceur Terry
2nd boss – Hairdresser Todd
3rd boss – Firefighter Desmond
4th boss – Half Mutant Mark
5th boss – Elder Richard

Here are the breakdown of requirements

Boss NameMinimum Requirement
Traceur Terry15 members obtained rank D sample no 20
Hairdresser Todd20 members obtained rank C sample no 25
Firefighter Desmond25 members obtained rank B sample no 30
Half Mutant Mark30 members obtained rank A sample no 30
Elder Richard35 members obtained rank S sample no 30

To summon all the bosses, you need to have at least 35 members complete rank S sample no 30.

Note that attacking boss will consume energy.

Back Alley Doctor Rewards

Depending on your chosen difficulty, rewards will vary.

Once you complete sample no 40, you will instantly receive the rewards.

In addition, joining rally against the mob will have a chance to give you vial as well as purple resources (e.g. 1,500k wood / food, 750k steel, or 300k oil). Which is a good tradeoff vs 140 stamina (if you have plenty).

Back Alley Doctor Strategy

When Fighting Boss

  • Schedule a time with your alliance when you want to fight.
  • Make sure all members complete their level 40.
  • When boss is summoned, bring 2 armies. One with full troops, while the other is 1 troop.
  • Have someone with full army attack the boss and hold, while the rest of the member’s one troop attack together (they will all die in one hit).
  • When everyone’s 1 troop died, swarm with the full troops.
  • Rinse and repeat for the rest of the bosses.

When Fighting Mob (Mutant Prowler)

  • Use zombie hero with heal as lead like Martin (If you don’t have, use Capt. Russel). As fighting zombie will have very few heavy wounded and many light wounded, using hero with heal will heal the majority to fight back again. So you will stay on the field for longer to fight zombie back to back (saving some stamina in the process).
  • Don’t join the rally others make to your summoned mob (save stamina).
  • To maximize the drop chance of purple resources
    • Gather some people to join this method,
    • Have someone request help, and the others join the rally to the mob,
    • You and your members will have a chance to drop vial and purple resources item (1.5m food/wood OR 750k steel OR 300k oil),
    • Repeat this until you got your 40 mobs.
    • Its very stamina heavy, beware. (See table above).
  • If you ran out of vial and unable to fight the mob (either rally or swarm), means no other way to complete the mission.

When Your Alliance Doesn’t Meet The Minimum Requirement to Summon Bosses

Usually many alliance will have issue to summon the 5th boss, mainly due to lack of members completing the rank S difficulty.

One solution that you can do, is to invite member(s) from another alliance that have completed rank S difficulty to join you temporarily.

Since it coincides with Alliance League, you may wonder. Will their Alliance League score be wiped? answer is no.

Just make sure the person doesn’t take any quest from for Alliance League, as any active quest will be marked as failed when exiting the alliance.

When they return to their alliance, their score will remained the same.
