Doomsday Vault

It is a 7 days event where you need to do mission in order to obtain keys. These keys will then be used to unlock the so called “doomsday vault” that contains freebies.

Depending on your level, key consumption will increase.

• Level 1 = 1 key
• Level 2 = 1 key
• Level 3 = 2 keys
• Level 4 = 3 keys
• Level 5 = 5 keys

By using key, you will need to obtain the associated coin for every level. If successful, you go to the next level. Else keep rolling until you found it.

Say for level 5, there are 5 boxes. You need somewhere around 1-5 keys.

There’s not really a strategy for it, as its a very RNG based.

This event doesn’t appear in advance on Event Calendar unfortunately. So you just have to wait till that event appears.

There are 5 missions in total that you need to complete. They are

• Challenge arena of doom 5 times
• Login
• Complete 12 radar station events
• Defeat 3 hiveminds
• Complete 5 trapping events

Each will give you 2 keys. So 10 in total per day, or 70 keys over the event period.

Beside doing daily mission, you can get the keys from

• Key usage = upon consuming keys, you will receive some sort of cash back in form of keys (a F2P will cap at 95 vault key usage).
• Buy from shop = 2 daily for 200 gems each (total for 7 days, 14 keys = 2800 gems).

In the span of the event, you will receive

70 keys (missions) + 14 keys (shop) + 19 (key usage) = 103 keys

You will need to select the main rewards for level 5. Depending on how many times you opens it, the rewards will increase in quality.

4 main rewards are unlocked at the start of the event. You pick one before you can use the keys.

p.s not all rewards are the same importance. I will discuss below for my personal recommendation.

Depending on the coins that you receive, you can trade them with the following rewards. Personally I would go for

• Vest Frag. Choice Box (first pick),
• Parts or High-Carbon Steel (only if got spare),
• Rss (last choice, don’t have anything else to trade for).

I would say a very good (and generous event) for F2P. To maximize the rewards, please always buy the daily keys in shop for 200 each.

Depending on your luck, to get the grand prize you need…

• If you are super lucky, you need 12 keys
• If you are super unlucky, you need 26 keys

With the 103 keys (as calculated above) as F2P, means.

• super lucky = 8 grand prize
• super unlucky = 3 grand prize

Reasonably you can get around 3-7 rounds for this event.

For Rewards, personally I will take these.

• Round 1 >> Honing Chip x 6
• Round 2 >> Honing Chip x 6 or Part Materials (Premium) x 9
• Round 3 >> Vest Frag. Choice Box x 12
• Round 4 >> Vest Frag. Choice Box x 12
• Round 5 >> Treasure Suitcase
• Round 6 >> Vest Frag. Choice Box x 12
• Round 7 >> Vest Frag. Choice Box x 12

You may notice, I pick vest frag for the above. Chest is among one (if not) the hardest armament to obtain in the game (alongside backpack). So event like this is very good to prop up your hero armaments.

For shoes, you can obtain it from Arena of Doom exchange.

In addition, skip the superb armament as it will take you very long to complete.
