What is Arms Race?
It is a daily event where you complete various missions within limited time slot for rewards. If you are lucky, you can get 6 Fragments of owned legendary hero of your choice.
Mission Overview
There are 7 missions in total (rotating everyday). In a single day, you only need to settle 6. For each mission, you have 4 hours complete, before changing to another.
Not all missions are the same. Some are easy, while others harder. You need to be smart and time it nicely to get the most out of it.

| Training 1 tier 5 squad | Very easy points here. I usually obtain 6 Military Badge here. All you need is to time your squad training with this time. Say today 0 UTC this mission appear, and you complete your training. The same mission will appear tomorrow at 4 UTC. Hence your new training time should be more than 1 day 4 hour. I usually time mine at 1 day 6 hour for all 4 squad types. |

Mission Rewards
There are multiple rewards you can get from this event.
Military Badge Rewards
By completing missions above, you will receive some Military Points + some resources. Get enough of it to trade with Military Badge Chest.
Here are the breakdowns
- 2 Military Badges = Purple chest (chance to drop 1 fragment)
- 8 Military Badges = Gold chest (chance to drop 2 fragments)
- 18 Military Badges = Red chest (chance to drop 3 fragments)
Note: drop chance of fragment drop for each is 33%.
Ranking Rewards
Personally I am not a fan of this rewards. I suggest for you to not chase this. As illustration
Rank 1 will receive
- 1 Legendary hero shard
- 150,000 food x 20 = 3,000,000 food
- 150,000 wood x 20 = 3,000,000 wood
- 75,000 steel x 20 = 1,500,000 steel
- 20,000 oil x 20 = 400,000 oil
All of which can be obtained by few hours of farming.
Arms Race Strategy
As per what I have shared, the purpose of this event isn’t to get the ranking. Instead for you to get easy legendary hero shard(s).
Personally I will target the following missions.
- Hero upgrade = 3 Badges
- Workshop = 0 Badge
- Beast = 3 Badges
- Troop = 6 Badges
- Construction & Research = 0 Badge
- Armament = 3 Badges
- Equipment & Parts = 0 Badge
My target everyday is to get Gold Chest, which require 8 Badges.
Doing the above, will net me around 15 Badges. Considering the mission rotation and my sleep time, I can get roughly obtain 9 Badges per day (1 more than required).
Getting 18 Badges will require a lot of resources that can be better spent elsewhere (another event, like Top Commander).
Note: For best result, during a particular event when you need to spend quite a lot of items (like Top Commander, Honing Challenge, Alliance League), time the resources usage with the Arms Race mission.
